A small tree with somewhat white-striped bark, a spreading, open crown, and drooping, bell-shaped, white flowers in May. The downward pointing flowers are partially hidden by the foliage and are best viewed from below. The wood serves as good lumber, but is of limited supply. Height: 20-40’ Spread: 15-30’
