Who we are
This website, riconservancy.com, is run by volunteers of the River Island Conservancy in Evans, Georgia. If you have a question about your personal information, send it to us through our contact form.
What we collect and why
- Contact form: your name, your email address, what brings you to us and your message. We use them only to answer you.
- Photo upload form: your name, your email address, an image title, optional notes and the photos you upload. We look at every photo before it appears in our gallery or on the digital photo frame in the Conservancy Room, and we use your details only to contact you about your photos.
Form submissions are stored on this website, where the volunteers who run it read them, and a copy is emailed to the site’s administrator. We do not sell them or share them with anyone else.
Photos and location data
Phones and cameras can store where a photo was taken inside the photo file. Please remove the location from a photo before you upload it if you do not want to share where it was taken.
